CONFIRMATION OF ACTION RE INELIGIBLE PLAYER

Further to confirmation received from the Scottish Football Association, the North Caledonian FA can confirm that member club Loch Ness FC have played an ineligible player on three occasions during the 2023-24 season.

The matches affected are listed below:

• August 19, 2023 – Loch Ness v Clachnacuddin ‘A’ (Macleod & MacCallum North Caledonian League)
• August 26, 2023 – Invergordon v Loch Ness (Football Times Cup)
• September 16, 2023 – Loch Ness v Clachnacuddin ‘A’ (Football Times Cup)

As per the constitution and rules of the North Caledonian FA, the following action has been taken.

• In the instance of Loch Ness v Clachnacuddin ‘A’ on August 19, 2023, three points will be deducted from Loch Ness FC and three points will be awarded to Clachnacuddin FC
• In the instance of Invergordon v Loch Ness on August 26, 2023, Loch Ness will forfeit the tie and Invergordon will be reinstated to the competition at the quarter final stage.
• In the instance of Loch Ness v Clachnacuddin ‘A’ on September 16, 2023, Loch Ness will forfeit the tie and Clachnacuddin F.C will be reinstated to the competition at the quarter final stage.

The rearranged Football Times Cup quarter final tie between Invergordon and Clachnacuddin ‘A’ will be played on a date to be confirmed.
